Build Up

The BUILD UP interactive web portal is a European initiative targeted to building professionals, public authorities and occupants to share information, tools and best practices. BPIE is an official partner, member of the guidance committee within the respective IEE project.

TightVent Europe

Although airtightness currently receives low attention around the EU, it will become increasingly important both in the discussion of nearly zero energy buildings as well as efforts to transform EU’s existing stock into high energy efficient buildings.

The demand for more stringent building regulations will directly impact the demand for air-tightness and ventilation measures. There will be an increasing request for information on available solutions, tests, issues related to airtightness measures. So will the issue of ventilation.

The TightVent Europe Platform is committed to play a key role in raising awareness and facilitating the information exchange necessary to support this process. 

BPIE supports the TIGHTVENT Europe “Building and Ductwork Airtightness Platform” since its launch on January 1, 2011. TightVent aims at facilitating exchanges and progress on building and ductwork airtightness issues, including the production and dissemination of policy oriented reference documents and the organization of conferences, workshops, webinars, etc.
