Financing energy Efficiency in the Romanian Building Stock, Bucharest (March 16)

Building on the success of our last year’s workshop on Financing Energy Efficiency in the Romanian building stock, we would like to reproduce a winning concept and bring together high level decision makers from the government, the industry, financial institutions, consumer organisations and academia. Our objective is to share best practices from other European Member States, and to provide guidance for the Romanian context. 

The focus of this second workshop is to examine how to better access European funding sources for making large scale (deep) retrofits happen in Romania. The BPIE would like to support Member States to take opportunities and look at successful models and innovative investment schemes existing across Europe.

The challenge will be not only to mobilize available European funds but also to adapting the schemes to the respective national territories following other good practices within the EU.

A roundtable setting will allow for a stimulating debate with the objective of identifying priorities and action points at national level.
