Agneta Persson is Managing Director at Anthesis Sweden. She is a leading expert in sustainable energy systems, energy efficiency, low energy buildings, technology procurement, demand-side management and market transformation with more than 40 years of experience in energy and environmental issues. She is a pioneer in the technology procurement area, with a broad experience from developing, managing and implementing several Swedish and European projects in this field.

Agneta has been involved in and managed several inter-disciplinary urban development projects as well as sustainable energy efficiency and climate mitigation projects. Agneta has also evaluated applications and project in her role as a national expert for the EU commission and she was for 5 years the President of the European Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (eceee), and continues to serve eceee as a senior adviser. Agneta has written a large amount of reports and she is a frequent lecturer and moderator at Swedish and European conferences.

Agneta holds a degree from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
