Jonathan is Project Manager at BPIE where he focuses on projects related to the decarbonisation of European buildings. He joined BPIE in 2016 and have been involved in projects on Long-Term Renovation Strategies, NZEB, indoor environmental quality, one-stop-shops, urban regeneration, energy poverty and policy innovation. The last 2 years, he has worked extensively on Building Renovation Passports and Digital Building Logbooks.  

Before joining BPIE, Jonathan worked at the Earth System Governance Project, where he conducted research on the new Sustainable Development Goals and the Post-2015 Development Agenda. Jonathan has also gathered experience from the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn, where he was stationed for six months in the Mitigation, Data & Analysis Programme.

Jonathan developed his analytical abilities at Lund University, where he earned a MSc in Political Science and two BSc in Political Science and Economics.

In his spare time, Jonathan is the Editor for Climate and Environmental Policy at – the European policy network – Politheor. The ambition of the network is to give a voice to young researchers and by doing so improve the debate on European policies and policy-making. There, Jonathan drafts op-eds and supports interns in navigating the mysterious paths of op-ed writing.
