This report provides a compilation of strategies, laws, initiatives and examples of good practice for a life-cycle perspective on the building sector. It demonstrates that sustainable construction and the decarbonisation of the building sector have developed a noticeable dynamic in Germany in recent years – but that binding rules are still largely lacking.
