Assessments and calculations of potential renewable energy and required investment

Analyses of the possibility to fulfil the energy needs of the four target municipalities of the ComActivate project by renewable sources

This report provides analyses of the possibility to cover energy needs in four target municipalities in Bulgaria, Hungary and Lithuania from renewable sources available and preferred at their locations, in order to achieve energy self-sufficiency at the neighbourhood level. An analysis is done separately for each municipality, as they prefer different renewable energy sources, and includes an estimation of the required investment.

The aim of this report is to enable relevant authorities to establish efficient and effective policy & finance mechanisms that enable large-scale investments in the final energy consumption residential sectors.

Each municipality-level analysis serves as a reliable planning tool, enabling local authorities to get clear insights of the entire residential stock in their territory, as well as the scope of pertaining energy-saving and emission-reduction needs and opportunities.
