‘How to implement’ infographic series

Welcome to the "How to implement" series; a collection of practical factsheets designed to support the rollout of key policy tools introduced by the recast Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Each factsheet outlines needs, actionable steps and best practices for implementation in EU Member States.

EPCs

The revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) brings major changes to Energy Performance Certificates, including a new scale and stronger quality requirements.
This factsheet explores the practical steps for implementing the updated EPC scheme, with a focus on the six EPBD.wise project countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine.

ZEBs and NBRPs

The recast EPBD requires Member States to prepare for Zero-Emission Buildings and to adopt National Building Renovation Plans that map out the path to a decarbonised building stock. The EPBD.wise project has analyzed how Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine can implement NBRPs and ZEBs effectively.
