JustReno webinar #3: Financing renovations for vulnerable households in worst-performing buildings

The JustReno project is pleased to announce the third webinar in its series, focusing on how municipalities can turn the identification of worst-performing buildings and vulnerable households into renovation support that reaches those who need it most.

Knowing where the needs are only matters if it leads to action. Building on the JustReno guidance on financing instruments and technical assistance, this webinar will look at how municipalities can make existing financing schemes work better for low-income households, while also considering innovative financing and delivery models. Rather than asking only what funding is available, the session takes a practical approach: how to identify needs, prioritise interventions, match projects with suitable financing, bring together demand and organise the technical assistance needed to get projects built.

The webinar will explore why existing financing does not always reach those most in need, and how municipalities can improve the targeting and accessibility of what already exists, including EU instruments such as the Social Climate Fund, national and local programmes, and one-stop-shop support. It will also present innovative approaches that combine renovation with wider housing goals, such as adding living space through extensions, repurposing vacant buildings and involving property developers in social rental housing.

Join us on [date] online to learn how municipalities can match renovation needs with the right financing and support for vulnerable households.
